Programme Overview

The programme aims at training human resource with requisite entrepreneurial knowledge and skills in the discipline of wildlife management, with emphasis on the management and administration of wildlife resources.

ASSESMENT

Admission Requirements

Minimum Entry Qualifications
The following shall be eligible for admission:
(i)    Holders of Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management of SUA with a minimum of lower second or from other institutions recognised by the SUA Senate.
(ii)    Holders of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree of SUA or from other institutions recognised by the SUA Senate. In addition, the candidate shall have scored at least FIVE  B grades or its equivalent in the undergraduate BVM Programme.
(iii)    Holders of Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Animal Science, and Agriculture General, of SUA with a minimum of lower second or from other institutions recognised by the SUA Senate.
(iv)    Holders of Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Biology, Wildlife Ecology, Range  Management with a minimum of lower second from other institutions recognised by the SUA Senate.
(v)    Candidates with Pass degree in the relevant field will be considered for admission if they have exhibited academic potential through extensive fieldwork, subsequent research experience and/or additional training.
(vi)    Holders of Postgraduate Diploma in Wildlife Management from other institutions recognised by SUA Senate.

(a) Application forms can be downloaded from the school website:
http://www.sua.ac.tz/postgraduate-application-forms. Application forms can also be requested from the Director’s Office through drpgs@sua.ac.tz or postgraduate.students@sua.ac.tz. Such dully-filled forms can be returned physically or mailed to the undersigned together with evidence of payment of Tanzanian Shillings TZS 50,000/= or US$ 20 for international students as application fee (normal application ) or TZS 80,000/= or US$50 for international students (for all late applications ). Payments should be made through A/C NO. 0150076769860 CRDB Bank: Swift Code No CORUTZTZXXX.

(b) Online application through http://suasis.sua.ac.tz:9092/index.php/welcome. Make sure that all relevant academic and financial documents are attached before final submission is made.

Tuition Fees per year for Tanzanian Students = 2,750,000 TZS
Tuition Fees per year for International Students = 8,849,137 TZS

NB: The Tuition fees per year for all Students is an addition of the First Semester Fees: 3,000,000 TZS (Tanzanian Students), 4,025 USD (International Students) PLUS the Second Semester Fees: 2,500,000 TZS (Tanzanian Students), 3,625 (International Students), then Divided by TWO.
