Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements
Applications are invited from candidates with an NQF level 7 qualification from a wide range of disciplines who wish to develop specialised knowledge in Development Policy and Practice. The applied nature of the programme provides candidates with an opportunity to either continue in the discipline of development policy and practice or to move from another field of study. Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment through a letter of motivation and a CV, including the names and contact details of two referees.

Tuition Fees for South African & SADC Students: $8,940
Tuition Fees for International Students: $12,712

Please note that fees and payment requirements differ for local and international students. A further distinction is made between international students from the SADC region, international students from elsewhere in Africa, and international students from outside Africa. The following information does not apply to students registering at the Graduate School of Business (GSB).

Students must pay the Course Fees for the selected courses, plus an International Admin Service Fee of R4, 000 plus the International Term Fee where applicable
