Duration of Programme
The programme shall consist of a full time, and weekend undertaking.  The programme shall last for six (6) semesters, or the equivalent of three Academic Years for A-level entrants and four (4) semesters or the equivalent of two academic years for Diploma Holders admitted in the second year. A semester shall be an equivalent of seventeen (17) weeks with fifteen (15) weeks being for teaching and two (2) weeks for examination. The duration of the Recess Term shall be ten (10) weeks. The timing of the Academic Year shall be arranged in two (2) semesters as follows: –
– Semester One: August to December
– Semester Two: January to May
– Recess Term: June to August
The Recess Term may be used for teaching, practicum research/project activities

2 Principal Passes at A’level one of which must be in Mathematics, Economics or Entrepreneurship obtained at the same sitting.

** An Application fee of 50,000 UGX for local students and 110,270 UGX for International Students has to be paid.
** Applications begin in March and end in May.

Tuition fees for Ugandan Students = 1,400,000 UGX
Tuition fees for International Students = 2,100,000 UGX
– Students from other countries in the East African Community (EAC) pay the same amount as local students. The EAC countries include; Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan.

NB
– The University reviews tuition fees on a regular basis.
– There are other functional fees and other costs that you might incur while studying. These include costs for internship, research, medical fees and other expenses that you might include such as photocopying, printing, buying specialized equipment and tools.
